About Riptide Riptide is building a new layer of enterprise AI for customer service. Our product, Ripley, is an AI Customer Advocate built for complex customer issues that traditional conversational AI struggles to resolve — situations where information is incomplete or changing, the path to resolution cannot be fully predefined, or multiple employees, systems, partners and AI agents need to participate. Rather than handing the customer off when AI reaches those limits, Ripley stays engaged and coordinates the people, systems and judgment required to resolve the issue end to end. This is already working at enterprise scale. At AAA Auto Club Group, Ripley supports 30,000+ service conversations per day. Riptide has continued to expand that relationship beyond the original roadside customer-support use case into more upstream customer loyalty and retention products, while also winning additional deployments in roadside customer support. We are profitable today, with proven customer outcomes, expansion revenue and a product already operating at meaningful enterprise scale. Our next milestone is to repeat that success with landmark enterprises across industries.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an exceptional enterprise seller to own Riptide’s next generation of new-logo relationships. You’ll work directly with our CEO and SVP of Sales & Marketing across a focused set of high-value enterprise accounts. You’ll inherit real opportunities and a growing account-based growth engine — including executive relationships, marketing, events, ecosystem partners, account intelligence and an AI-powered SDR capability — but your job is not simply to process pipeline. You will create access where none exists, turn interest into compelling business cases, orchestrate complex buying groups, and personally drive opportunities through commercial agreement and Production. This is a senior IC role for someone who still wants to sell — and who wants to help build the sales motion Riptide scales around.
What You’ll Do:
Own strategic new-logo acquisition across a concentrated portfolio of high-potential enterprise accounts.
Create executive access and pipeline through account strategy, targeted outreach, personal and company networks, events, ecosystem partners and Riptide’s AI-enabled growth infrastructure.
Run executive discovery to understand the customer’s operating model and identify problems where Riptide can create significant economic and customer-experience value.
Build customer-specific business cases tied to CX, operating expense, labor efficiency, service quality and revenue.
Quarterback complex enterprise deals, multi-threading across CX, Operations, IT, AI leadership, security, procurement and executive stakeholders.
Drive the evaluation and commercial process from initial discovery through simulations, technical validation, paid POVs, legal/procurement, commercial agreement and Production.
Use Riptide leadership strategically to create access and accelerate important opportunities while remaining the commercial owner of the account.
Help build the playbook by turning what works — messaging, account strategies, buying triggers, evaluations and deal patterns — into a repeatable sales system.
What Success Looks Like:
Your ultimate measure of success is straightforward:
Land landmark new enterprise customers and move them into Production.
We’ll also measure the leading indicators that make those outcomes predictable: high-quality pipeline, executive engagement, multi-threaded buying groups, customer-specific business cases, paid evaluations, commercial agreements, pipeline progression and forecast accuracy.
Activity for its own sake does not matter. We care about activity when it creates access, advances a buying process or produces revenue.
Who We’re Looking ForYou likely have:10+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with a history of personally creating and closing large, complex new-logo relationships.
Experience selling enterprise SaaS, AI, customer experience, customer service, contact-center technology, automation or adjacent platforms.
A track record of creating executive sponsorship, building compelling business cases and navigating complex Fortune 500 buying processes.
Experience operating somewhere between initial product-market proof and mature GTM scale — comfortable helping build the sales motion rather than simply inheriting one.
Fluency selling across both business and technical stakeholders, including security, IT architecture, legal and procurement.
A strong AI-native working style, using AI for account research, preparation, personalization, relationship mapping, follow-up and sales execution.
The judgment, resourcefulness and commercial drive to operate independently in an early-stage environment.
Most importantly: you still want to personally sell and close major enterprise relationships.
