Job Description: Dental Hygienist – Requirements
Education & Licensing:- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Current [State] Dental Hygienist license in good standingCPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
- Knowledge of oral health assessments and periodontal charting
- Ability to take and process dental radiographs
- Familiarity with infection control and sterilization protocols
- Strong understanding of patient education and oral hygiene instruction
- ExperiencePrevious clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome, if applicable)
- Experience with dental software/EHR systems is a plus
