Trim Carpenter

Skillforce is hiring experienced Commercial Trim Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong finish-carpentry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship on commercial construction projects.

Commercial Trim Carpenter Responsibilities Install commercial finish carpentry, including doors, frames, baseboards, casing, trim, molding, and other architectural millwork Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and construction plans Measure, cut, fit, and install wood and composite materials accurately Install doors, hardware, cabinets, paneling, and other finish components as required Perform layout and ensure finished work meets project specifications and quality standards Use hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and effectively Coordinate with other trades and communicate with supervisors and project management regarding job-site needs Identify and correct installation issues or deficiencies Commercial Trim Carpenter Qualifications 3+ years of commercial finish or trim carpentry experience Proficiency with common carpentry hand and power tools Ability to accurately read blueprints and construction drawings Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques, materials, and installation methods Ability to take accurate measurements and perform basic calculations Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and perform physical construction work Experience with Commercial office and retail construction preferred
