Job Description The Dry Cleaning Plant Team Leader processes mixed customer orders and retail garments in a mixed-equipment production environment. Working from assigned production stations and cross-trained across departments, this role operates hydrocarbon systems and wet-cleaning equipment while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards. Advancement opportunities may lead to Lead Plant Manager role.
Responsibilities:
Process garments through hydrocarbon systems and wet-cleaning equipment.
Operate dry-cleaning and wet-cleaning machinery in a mixed-equipment environment.
Perform stain treatment and handle cleaning solvents safely.
Inspect garments for quality and processing accuracy.
Press garments according to production and presentation standards.
Sort orders and garments for efficient processing and completion.
Work at assigned production stations and support multiple departments through cross-training.
Follow plant safety and compliance procedures
Assist store manager in supervision of site.
Deliver clothes as needed
Learn front desk operations
Start up and shutdown plant as needed.
Required Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in dry-cleaning plant operations.
