We are seeking an experienced Seamstress to manufacture fabric awnings from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at $20.00 per hour. The role involves sewing individual awning projects using acrylic fabric, vinyl-coated fabric, and canvas as part of a cross-functional manufacturing team. Advancement opportunities include progression to Lead Fabricator.
Responsibilities:
- Cut fabric according to patterns and project specifications.* Follow patterns and accurately measure materials.* Assemble fabric awning components.* Operate walking-foot and single-needle industrial sewing machines.* Sew awning materials, including acrylic fabric, vinyl-coated fabric, and canvas.* Finish seams and inspect completed work.* Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of industrial sewing experience.* High school diploma or equivalent.* Experience operating industrial sewing machines.* Ability to read patterns and measure fabric accurately.* Quality control experience.* Strong attention to detail.
