Job Description: Acute Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Acute Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role requires coverage primarily for our facilities located in Ahuja and Portage, with a variable weekly schedule of 36-40 hours per week. This position includes responsibility for providing care every other Saturday and participating in scheduled on-call rotations. The selected candidate must have reliable transportation and be willing to assist at other facilities as needed when the patient census is lower at their primary locations.
Unit Description:
Our nursing units are characterized by various patient-to-nurse ratios, including 4:2, 2:1, and 1:1. You will be part of a dynamic team composed of both Registered Nurses and Technicians.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care during hemodialysis treatments.
Monitor patients' vital signs and health status throughout the dialysis process.
Assess and respond to any complications or changes in patient conditions during treatment.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families about dialysis, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
Qualifications:- Current and valid RN license.
- Experience in acute hemodialysis nursing.
- Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
