State Chief Medical EpidemiologistDPH seeks to hire a physician with expertise in epidemiology to serve as the Delaware State Epidemiologist and to oversee the DPH Epidemiology Section, reorganize current assets, and establish the Office of Rural Health Epidemiology (ORHE). The State Epidemiologist will lead a diverse group of highly specialized epidemiology experts who work in the areas of infectious diseases, environmental health, maternal child health, chronic diseases and rural health. This is particularly needed as DE commits to more closely address the health needs of its rural dwellers and other vulnerable populations.
