About the Job: DeVoe & Company is seeking an Analyst to join our Consulting and Investment Banking team. A San Francisco Bay Area location is preferred, but the right candidate can be located anywhere in the U.S.DeVoe & Company Overview DeVoe & Company is a leading consulting firm and investment bank serving the wealth management industry. Founded by RIA thought leader David DeVoe in 2011, the firm has completed more than 900 client engagements across consulting, M&A, and valuation. Our team is composed of experienced industry professionals with backgrounds in strategy consulting and investment banking, most of whom are former C-level executives of RIAs ranging from $1B to $200B+ in assets. Why This RoleThis is a boutique seat, and the work reflects it. • Direct principal exposure. You will join client calls with RIA founders and CEOs and see firsthand how senior advisors run a process.
  • Real work from the start. Your models, target lists, and pages go into client deliverables, not practice files.
  • Breadth across the platform. Valuation, sell-side and buy-side M&A, and strategic consulting, rather than a single narrow product.
  • A defined path. Analyst to Associate, with strong performers typically advancing within two years based on contribution rather than tenure.
  • Industry visibility. DeVoe’s research and thought leadership, including the quarterly Deal Book, is cited across the wealth management industry. The transaction data you track feeds it directly.

  • Analyzing primary and secondary data sources and translating findings into clear, defensible conclusions
  • Maintaining data integrity across firm databases and CRM
  • Supporting research and thought leadership, including annual industry surveys and conference presentations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic credentials
  • 1–2 years of experience in investment banking, valuation, consulting, financial analysis, or wealth management
  • Financial services, wealth management, or RIA exposure a plus
  • Strong Excel: able to build, follow, and check financial models
  • Strong PowerPoint: able to build clean, client-ready pages within brand standards
  • Fluency with AI-assisted research and productivity tools, and sound judgment about when to rely on them
  • Salesforce experience a plus What We Look For
