Position
Overview:
BEARConstructionisseekingaRenewableEnergyProjectManagertoleadsolarprojectsfrompreconstructionthroughcompletion. Theidealcandidateishighlyorganized, forward-thinking, andcommittedtosafety, financialperformance, andclientsatisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Managerenewableenergyprojectsthroughoutallstagesofdevelopmentandconstruction
Partnerwith Preconstructionteamsforbidding, subcontractorscopedevelopment, contractnegotiation, andaward
Coordinateallstakeholders, includingowners, developers, utilitycompanies, subcontractors, andlocalauthorities
Monitorconstructionquality, ensuringcompliancewithplans, specifications, QA/QC, codes, andbestpractices
Developandmanageprojectbudgets; trackcosts, identifysavingsopportunities, andprovideregularprojectreports
Overseepayapplicationsandchangeordersinaccordancewithcontractterms
Leadprojectmeetings, reportprogresstoseniormanagement, andpresentprojectupdatestoclients
Manageprojectcloseoutwithowners, subcontractors, andstakeholders
Fostercontinuousimprovement, implementinglessonslearnedandinnovativesolutions
Ensuresafetyisthetoppriorityonalljobsites
Qualifications:
Bachelor’sdegreein ElectricalEngineering, Construction Management, orequivalentexperience
Experienceinsolar, renewableenergy, orlarge-scaleconstructionprojectmanagement
Experiencemanagingmultipleprojectteamsandself-performwork
ProficiencywithMSOffice, scheduling, andconstructionsoftware(e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, SharePoint)
Strongfinancialacumenwithexperiencemanagingbudgetsandcostcontrol
Excellentcommunication, leadership, negotiation, andproblem-solvingskills
Willingnesstotravelwithinthe Midwesttosupportprojectsandclientmeetings
