Locator - St Paul, Metro East

Position Details: We anticipate the need for one or more Locator(s) (graduated wage scale) to be located in St. Paul, MN, however there is a possibility for this role to be in Newport, MN or White Bear, MN. The starting pay is $27.62 hourly. This position will be posted for 10 working days from October 12, 2026, to October 23, 2026.

Summary: As a Locator, you will locate multiple underground facilities including Gas and Electric using various types of information including Xcel maps, construction prints and as built drawings to determine approximate location. Use electronic equipment to determine physical location of facilities to protect them from damage and to ensure the safety of the excavator as well as the public.
