RN - CVICU

Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the CVICU, while ensuring adherence to protocols and standards of care. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, interpreting data from various monitoring devices. Administer medications, perform treatments, and maintain patient records in accordance with facility policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement individualized care plans. Participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities. Comfort and educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and recovery process. Float to ICU and PCU as necessary, maintaining competency across critical care areas. Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)

Duration: 12 hours per shift

Holidays: Required

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting, with mandatory open heart experience. Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.Strong knowledge of ICU procedures, protocols, and patient management strategies. Proficient in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Additional Information: Two shifts of floor-specific orientation will be provided.
