Job Description:
Job Description We are seeking a Rebar Fabricator/Laborer to join our shop team. This position is responsible for measuring and assembling rebar according to fabrication drawings and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in fabrication or construction, but we're also willing to train motivated individuals that lack the experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure and fabricate rebar according to shop drawings and instructionsOperate rebar fabrication equipment safely and efficientlyTag and bundle completed rebar orders accurately for delivery or pickupPerform quality checks to ensure accuracy and conformance to specificationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAssist other team members in the shop as neededFollow all company safety policies and proceduresQualifications: Previous rebar, steel fabrication, or construction experience (preferred, not required) Ability to read and interpret fabrication tags, cut lists, and simple shop drawingsComfortable using measuring tools and operating shop equipmentPhysically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periodsDependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality work- MUST FILL OUT APPLICATION IN PERSON AT OUR OFFICE BEFORE INTERVIEW CAN BE SCHEDULED- In-Person Interview Required- Must conduct a drug test before hiring (this will be scheduled through A-1 Steel, Inc.)- Generous benefits package Company Description A-1 Steel, Inc. is a leading structural and rebar steel fabricator serving Northern Nevada.
