Madison, WI Specialty: Clinical Laboratory - Microbiology Shift: Evenings, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 4:00 pm-12:00 am Hours: 40 per week (5 x 8) Contract: 26 weeks Start Date: Nov 2, 2026 About the Facility Facility is a large academic hospital in Madison, WI. You'll work in the hospital's clinical laboratory, in the microbiology department.
The Role:
You'll join the microbiology team on a 26-week travel assignment. The team needs a technologist who can step in quickly and read complex cultures with minimal training. This is a strong fit for someone who has worked almost exclusively in microbiology.
Requirements:- ASCP certification (MT or MLS)
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or in medical technology
- At least 2 years of hospital laboratory experience
- Dedicated microbiology experience preferred
- Strong skills across all microbiology areas, as shown on the skills checklist
- Schedule & Expectations
Evening shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00 pm-12:00 amWeekend rotation: 1 in 4 weekends. Weekend shifts run 2:00 pm-10:00 pm or 3:00 pm-11:00 pm.
