Job Type: Full-TimeJob SummaryMP Engineers & Architects is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to support field inspections, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance reviews, and the preparation of engineering drawings for similar projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ADA accessibility standards, New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB) regulations, and applicable building codes.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct field inspections and review existing site conditions for ADA compliance. Assess buildings, facilities, and site conditions against applicable ADA accessibility standards. Prepare and update technical drawings based on field observations and project requirements. Identify accessibility issues and recommend appropriate corrective measures. Ensure drawings and project documentation comply with applicable NYC DOB regulations and relevant building codes. Coordinate with project teams to support design reviews and project documentation. Maintain accurate field notes, inspection records, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Working knowledge of ADA accessibility standards and NYC DOB rules and regulations. Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience conducting field inspections and ADA compliance reviews. Familiarity with building codes, accessibility requirements, and construction documentation. Experience preparing or revising engineering drawings based on field assessments. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with project teams.

Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline is required. Relevant professional certifications or licenses are an advantage.
