Teardown Technician The Teardown Technician disassembles diesel engines in preparation for repair and remanufacture. We provide all tools & training. We offer competitive pay + competitive benefits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- We provide all tools & training!
- Intake diesel engines
- Disassemble diesel engine components
- Cleaning and prepping of parts
- Forklift operation
- General shop responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:- 1-2 years of experience in related field preferred (We will train)
- Experience in forklift operation; ability to become forklift certified
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to repeat motions
- Follow all safety policies
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
- Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment:- Shop environment that can include exposure to loud noises, dirt, and dust
- Ability to squat, kneel, and bend over
- Ability to lift objects to shoulder level
- Ability to lift, move, and carry objects to 50 lbs.
