Overview:
Position Type Full Time Job Shift DayDescriptionThis position is responsible for applying leather trim materials to high end furniture using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.
Essential Duties:
- Use various tools to apply trim to high end leather furniture
- Must be able to read and follow production tickets
- Must be familiar with ply grip, strip tack, and trim materials
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous upholstery experience a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks
- Must be able to work in noisy environments
- Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble product or operate machine as directed
Frequently lifting/carrying objects up to 50 lbs.; rarely lifting/carrying objects 51-75 lbs.
