Radiologic Technologist II

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Radiology Technologist II to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging across hospitals, clinics, and long-term care facilities in the Cary, NC area. In this role, you’ll perform radiographic exams, ensure patient safety and comfort, and collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to support timely, accurate diagnoses. You’ll operate imaging equipment, follow radiation safety and infection control standards, and maintain detailed documentation. Perform diagnostic radiographic exams following physician orders and imaging protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning for all procedures Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, ensuring proper radiation safety practices Verify patient identification, review orders, and maintain accurate imaging records Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support timely diagnosis and treatment Adhere to infection control, regulatory, and quality standards in all imaging activities Provide guidance and support to less experienced technologists as needed Document and report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or variances promptly Diagnostic radiography Radiation safety and protection Patient positioning and care PACS and EMR systems Equipment operation and troubleshooting Contrast administration support Infection control compliance Anatomy and radiographic positioning knowledge Regulatory and quality standards (e.g., JCAHO) Communication and teamwork Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required or eligible Current state radiologic technologist license (as applicable) Current BLS certification Experience in hospital or acute care imaging environment preferred Competency with digital PACS and EMR systems
