AI/ML Engineer (Knoxville)

Location-Birmingham, AL, Knoxville, TN, Columbia, SC or Lafayette, LA.A hybrid working model is acceptable. Required Qualifications to be Successful in this Role:8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years developing AI/ML solutions Strong hands-on experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), including document classification and information extraction Experience applying OCR, NLP, Computer Vision, and Large Language Models (LLMs) to document processing and understanding Strong development skills in Python and Java 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience, particularly with services such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, and RDSExperience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit learn, Hugging Face, and LangChainExperience developing REST APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, FastAPI, or comparable frameworks Hands on knowledge of MLOps, including model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of scalable software development practices, design patterns, and Agile delivery Ability to lead technical discussions and provide technical direction while remaining hands on with development Experience mentoring developers and collaborating with business, engineering, and technology stakeholders Financial services domain experience preferred, particularly in mortgage, multifamily lending, or commercial real estate (CRE)AWS AI/ML or AWS Cloud certification preferred
