Senior Project Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facilities

Johnson Controls seeks a Pharmaceutical Project Executive to lead complex pharmaceutical manufacturing projects that integrate smart, sustainable building solutions. In this role, you will manage scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating cross-functional engineering, quality, and operations teams. You will ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards, oversee facility and automation implementations, and serve as primary client contact. Lead end-to-end pharmaceutical manufacturing projects from scope through delivery for Johnson Controls customers Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, validation, and operations to meet project milestones Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and relevant regulatory and safety standards in all project activities Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies Serve as primary client contact, managing expectations, communication, and status reporting Support design and implementation of building systems and automation for pharma production environments Drive continuous improvement and standardization in project execution processes Prepare project documentation, including URS, design reviews, and validation support Track project KPIs and report performance to leadership Collaborate with sales and business development to scope new opportunities and technical solutions Project management Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes cGMP compliance Regulatory (FDA/EMA) knowledge Budgeting and cost control Risk management Building automation systems (BAS) HVAC and cleanroom systems Validation and qualification Technical documentation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred Six Sigma or Lean certification a plus GMP/cGMP training or certification preferred Engineering or life sciences degree (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Biotechnology)
