This is a fully outpatient role, with no hospital call or rounding, and all procedures are performed in an office-based lab (OBL).This is a wonderful opportunity to work closely with a highly experienced vascular surgeon and break into an exciting and emerging field for PAs and NPs. Description:
- Outpatient Vascular Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday-Friday schedule (flexible 4 or 5 days per week)100% outpatient setting
- No weekends, no nights, no hospital duties
- See new and follow-up patients in clinic
- Office-based lab (OBL) procedures: superficial venous ablations, deep venous work, arterial interventions, and minimally invasive musculoskeletal procedures
- In-house vascular ultrasound
- Insulin resensitization (low-dose IV insulin) program for patients with diabetes
- Implantable continuous glucose monitoring
- Arterial work in skilled nursing facilities
Qualifications:
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (licensed or eligible to be licensed in Texas)
- Experience in vascular medicine, interventional radiology, endocrinology, cardiology, internal medicine, or other relevant fields
- New graduate PA and NP candidates with relevant clinical rotations or healthcare experience will also be considered
- Bilingual - English & Spanish
