Company Description:
Bytebase is an open-source database governance platform that controls how teams change and access their databases. It gives you one place to manage heterogeneous database changes, access, and keep a full record of who did what and when — whether the user is a person or an AI agent. That makes it easier to stay secure and pass audits as your production database operations grow. Why this role is different from most "founding AE" jobs Most founding AE roles ask you to bet on whether the product can sell. That question is already answered here. The product is five years old and mature. We're the default recommendation across ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI assistants for the problems we solve. Six- and seven-figure ACV to customers ranging from frontier AI labs to the Fortune 10. All inbound. Profitable, with more money in the bank than we've raised. The gap is turning PLG and founder-led sales into a repeatable PLS motion.
