This is a short-term role helping to complete finish work inside a newly constructed mixed use, commercial residential building in Salida, CO. Aid in handling materials and supporting daily construction activities. You will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks as needed. This includes keeping the worksite clean and safe, operating power tools, following instructions, or other necessary tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
Responsibilities:
Keep the jobsite clean and organizedProvide assistance to construction foreman and follow instructionsWork safely at heights and climb laddersOperate power tools and hand tools Tackle challenges with a positive attitudeFollow all safety guidelinesOther manual labor tasks as required Attention to detail Qualifications Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting objects up to 50#, standing for long periodsConstruction experience or knowledgeComfort with safe tool useAbility to adhere to all safety rules and regulationsAble to follow directions and work well on a small teamStrong work ethicHigh school diploma or equivalent required
