Location: Chico, CAAssignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: 10-hr shifts, varied days off, possibly weekends, no call.

Job Description: This role is at a Level II trauma center with responsibilities in the inpatient main operating room, but may require floating to the outpatient Same Day Surgery center as needed. The surgical technologist will operate effectively within a dynamic surgical environment to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical procedures. Assist surgeons and surgical teams by passing instruments and supplies during surgeries. Ensure the availability and functionality of surgical instruments and equipment. Participate in the cleaning and maintenance of the surgical suite post-procedure. Follow all safety and compliance protocols during surgeries.

Required Experience: One (1) year of recent hospital experience as a Surgical Technologist or a graduate of an accredited Operation Room Technician course.

Certifications/Licensure: Current CPR certification is required.
