Position Description:
The warehouse fork lift driver will organize and store product to meet customerspecifications in compliance with company policy, GMPs and Safety. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Load and unload trucks and railcars per bill of ladings
- Receive, count, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
- Verification of required receiving/shipped paperwork
- Organize and store product
- Operate all warehouse equipment in safe manner
- Communicate safety issues to manager/supervisor
- Stage customer orders in organized manner on shipping dock
- Maintain organized, safe, and clean working environment
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Food Program
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
- Building maintenance as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read shipping and receiving records/reports
- Dependable attendance
- Hard worker
- Team player Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes and related equipment
- Forklift experience.
Working Conditions:- Repetitive work in a fast-paced environment with average temperature of Zero-degree freezers -60degrees F (depending on worksite location)
- Some manual labor with heavy lifting required (approximately 40 pounds)
