Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Warehouse Associate to assist with loading, unloading, sorting, and organizing materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable with heavy lifting and working in cold storage conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Retrieve boxes and transport them to assigned trailers and trucks for loading and unloading.
Assist with sorting, stacking, and palletizing materials for storage or outbound shipping.
Stack, organize, and secure freight to prevent damage during transport.
Verify shipment counts and report any discrepancies or damages.
Maintain a clean and organized dock, work area, and workstation.
Follow food safety and sanitation protocols.
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
Use required personal protective equipment (PPE).Work efficiently to meet productivity and turnaround time expectations.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience building pallets.
Previous experience stacking, loading, and unloading trailers required.
Basic understanding of warehouse or loading dock operations preferred.
Ability to handle heavy lifting, typically 25-50 lbs., and occasionally more.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Must be comfortable working in cold storage conditions, including freezer or cooler environments.
Spanish-speaking applicants are welcome.
Must follow BRC regulations. No food or drinks are allowed on the production floor.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to cross-train.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
