We are hiring a US Dental Market Specialist to grow sales of Enbio fast-cycle tabletop autoclaves in dental practices and Dental Service Organizations (DSOs). The ideal person already sells sterilization or infection-control equipment to dentists, knows the dealer channel, and can win head-to-head against established competitors. The role is a field-based, quota-carrying hunter position: open new accounts, convert competitor installed base, and build DSO-level standardization deals.
Key responsibilities:
Prospect and close general dentists, specialists (oral surgery, endo, perio, ortho, pedo) and group practices.
Win DSO business: map decision-makers (procurement, clinical directors, compliance/infection-control leads), run pilots, and negotiate standardization agreements.
Work with national & regional dental dealer reps: train them, ride along, and drive pull-through.
Run in-office demos showing cycle time, chair turnover and instrument-availability gains versus the customer’s current autoclave.
Build ROI cases: fewer instrument sets, faster turnover, lower water/energy use, smaller footprint.
Support installs, staff training and sterilization-compliance questions (CDC guidelines, OSHA, spore testing).Represent Enbio at trade shows and study clubs (e.g., Chicago Midwinter, Greater New York Dental Meeting, state dental association meetings).Keep CRM pipeline and forecasts current; report competitor pricing and win/loss insights.
Must-have experience
Dental capital equipment sales: 5+ years selling equipment (sterilizers, chairs, imaging, handpieces) to dental offices, with a record of hitting quota.
Private practice selling: comfortable selling directly to owner-dentists and office managers; short-cycle, relationship-driven closing.
Sterilization / infection control: direct experience with SciCan (Coltene) Statim, Midmark M9/M11, W&H Lisa/Lina, or Tuttnauer, as a manufacturer rep, dealer equipment specialist, or service tech.
Dealer channel: has worked with or for national or regional dental dealers, and knows how equipment specialists are compensated.
Territory: lives in the assigned region; able to travel 50–70%.
Nice to have:- A dental assistant or hygienist background (credibility on sterilization workflow).A bachelor’s degree.
- Personal traits and skills
- Hunter mindset: enjoys displacing an incumbent brand and opening new doors, not just servicing accounts.
- Consultative and technical: can explain cycle types, Class B vs. Class N/S, drying, validation and spore testing in plain language.
- Credible with clinicians: speaks the language of dentists, office managers and sterilization assistants.
- Strategic with DSOs: patient through 6–12-month enterprise cycles; comfortable presenting ROI to finance and procurement.
- Channel diplomat: builds trust with dealer reps so they bring Enbio into deals.
- Self-managed: works remotely, plans routes, keeps CRM clean, and forecasts accurately.
- Startup comfort: happy building a brand that is newer in the US than its competitors. Salary $85,000–$95,000 base + commission (on-target earnings $160,000–$200,000)
