Part-time Cabinet Assembler Assembly of cabinets that are pre-manufactured and flat packed. The process is essentially opening the box, laying out the cabinet pieces, putting and adhering the cabinet pieces together, inspecting for quality, applying packaging to the assembled cabinet to protect it during delivery. All tools and materials needed are provided. This is a new process and therefore the hours may not be consistent each day/week to start. It will develop into a regularly scheduled part time position in short order.
Duties and responsibilities include:- For an order - Pick the boxes containing the flat packed cabinets and place on a pallet from stock
- Take the assigned pallet of flat packed cabinets to the assembly station
- Assemble one cabinet at a time and protect it with the given supplies
- Inspect assembled cabinet for quality control
- Place assembled cabinets on a pallet and secure them together
Competencies include:
Top attributes: Reliability, attention to detail, good with hands, carpentry knowledge/experience is a plus
Physical demands include:
