- A leading financial services organization is seeking a senior Storage Systems Engineer to support and modernize its core infrastructure environment. This role focuses on enterprise virtualization, storage platforms, and business continuity while enabling AI-driven and data-intensive workloads.
- You will play a critical role in maintaining reliability, performance, and resiliency across on-prem and hybrid environments, partnering closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams.
- What You’ll Tackle
- Operate and optimize VMware-based virtualized environments
- Design and support enterprise storage platforms and replication strategies
- Own business continuity and disaster recovery planning and execution
- Support infrastructure for AI and high-performance workloads
- Troubleshoot complex performance, capacity, and resiliency issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams on infrastructure modernization
- What You Bring
- Extensive hands-on VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) experience
- Strong background in enterprise storage architectures
- Proven ownership of BCP/DR and resiliency planning
- Experience supporting critical systems in regulated environments
- Strong troubleshooting and operational discipline
- Ability to work onsite in a hybrid NYC environment
- Azure infrastructure experience
- Exposure to AI or GPU-backed environments
- Automation or scripting experience
- Financial services background
