Service Technician

Key Responsibilities: Disassemble, inspect, rebuild, and refurbish industrial gearboxes according to engineering specifications and repair standards. Identify damaged gearbox components and determine required repairs and replacement parts. Collect measurements, findings, and technical information for inspection and repair reports. Perform field service work, including installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and emergency repairs at customer sites. Lead and supervise on-site repair activities when required. Utilize precision measuring tools to inspect gears, bearings, shafts, seals, and other gearbox components. Read and interpret assembly drawings, machining drawings, and technical documentation. Assist with shipping, receiving, painting of gear units, and general workshop activities. Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, organized work environment. Communicate professionally with customers, service teams, and internal stakeholders regarding repair findings and recommendations.
