Security Project Technician 1

Pay: $25$30/hour Location: Raleigh, NC Travel: Local travel to jobsites required; minimal overnight travel may be required This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in low voltage, electronic security, fire alarm, or field service who is looking to grow their technical skills and career.

Responsibilities: Install, test, program, and service security, fire alarm, and related systems Assist with system start-up, commissioning, and certification testing Read basic blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals Troubleshoot equipment and identify system issues Use hand and power tools to complete installations and service work Provide technical support and customer training Assist with project documentation and closeout Work with project and operations teams to ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on time

Qualifications: 13 years of relevant field service experience preferred, but not required Experience with low voltage, electronic security, fire alarm, or related systems Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to read basic schematics and wiring diagrams Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable, self-motivated, and willing to learn Valid driver's license and clean driving record High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience This position is a strong fit for someone with a hands-on technical background who wants to develop their skills in the security and systems integration industry.
