This is a 100 percent defense-side litigation role handling sophisticated general liability matters, with the opportunity to support aviation-related disputes depending on experience and interest. THE ROLE:
Manage insurance defense litigation matters involving premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, and related general liability claims. Handle day-to-day case development including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, and motion practice. Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation as needed. Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders to develop strategy, evaluate exposure, and drive matters toward resolution. LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Schedule: Fully Remote
Compensation: $100,000 to $200,000 base salary (commensurate with experience)
REQUIREMENTS:
Active Illinois bar admission in good standing.5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience, including premises liability, product liability, wrongful death, and similar matters. Experience level sufficient to work up a case with minimal supervision (including independently managing core litigation tasks).Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
PREFERRED BACKGROUND:
