Valid Master of Towing Vessels (MOTV) or Mate Pilot of Towing Vessels license, >200 gross tons, with towing endorsements for Western Rivers and Inland Waters Valid Radar Endorsement and FFC license Minimum 2 years wheelhouse experience; 3 years on inland towing vessels Ability to safely navigate up to two 30,000 BBL barges on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and Mississippi River Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) Ability to perform heavy work, including lifting over 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions Must be willing and able to fly on a commercial airline for crew change Must satisfactorily complete pre-employment physical exam (USCG CG-719k), drug and alcohol screen, benzene physical, and respirator test Must wear proper PPE and promote a safety-first culture What Will Make You Stand OutWheelhouse experience on tank or LPG barge tows Merchant Mariner Credential (MMC) Tankerman- PIC (Barge)
