In this vital role, you will: Conduct vision and hearing screenings for students, ensuring adherence to state guidelines and best clinical practices Monitor and assess student health, documenting findings and communicating effectively with families and school staff Collaborate with educators and school administration to implement individualized health care plans Provide emergency care and administer medication or treatments as prescribed Act as a resource for staff on health-related concerns and promote school-wide wellness initiatives Qualifications and essential experience: Current and unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) license Valid Audiology certification Previous nursing experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings is highly desirable Excellent assessment, communication, and clinical documentation skills Adaptable, compassionate, and able to manage multiple priorities in a school environment As a school RN, youll work regular day-time hours (totaling 35 per week), supporting students' health while fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.
