Private Equity Associate – Chicago Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 law firm, is looking to add two mid-level corporate associates to its growing private equity group in Chicago. The firm has a well-established national private equity platform and is continuing to expand the team. This role offers the opportunity to take a leading role on sophisticated buyouts, M&A, and other private equity deals, managing transactions from the earliest stages through closing. The ideal candidate has deep private equity deal experience, is comfortable running transactions with increasing independence, and is looking to grow with a dynamic, high-profile practice.*The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $420,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.*Qualifications Must be authorized to work in the United States3–7 years of law firm experience in private equity and/or M&A transactions Significant private equity experience, including complex M&A deals handled from start through closing Demonstrated ability to lead and manage transactionsJ.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials Admitted (or able to be promptly admitted) to the Illinois bar
