Job Description We are currently looking for Full Time Physician's Assistant/Nurse Practitioner for Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine in Riverside California. Flexible hours. Sign on bonus to be determined based on qualifications. We are seeking a Physicians Assistant /Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality Urgent Care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses and injuries - All ages
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Available some evenings/weekends/holidays Able to work as solo provider Qualifications: Previous experience as a P.A. or N.P.Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to provide quick and appropriate medical services
- Experience with wound closures, I&Ds, and casting/splinting
