Ocean Import Coordinator

Salary: $60-65K/yr depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidateStatus: Direct hire, FT, On-Site Mon-FriMain functions include but are not limited to: Receive, review and process import documentation from overseas agents/customersUpdate shipment status, issue arrival notice and obtain entry documents for customs entries. Communicate with customs brokers to confirm customs release statusArrange freight release with carriers/co-load agents, confirm cargo availabilityRespond to customer requests for shipment status by emails, phone calls in a timely manner, referring customer to supervisor/manager when questions are beyond scope of responsibilityFollow up bookings received from overseas agents/customers, open import files and file ISFPerform any other related tasks as required or assigned by supervisor/managerRequirements: Minimum 3-5 years of ocean import experience (A-Z) within freight forwarding industryMust be able to understand IncotermsMust have good computer and data entry skills, along with Word, Excel and OutlookMust be able to work under pressureCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 All compensation and pay rates are dependent upon skills and experience.
