Materials Planner

Responsibilities: Convert forecast and demand information into purchase requests and purchase orders to support material availability and business needs. Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order status, delivery timing, and shipment details while proactively addressing potential delays. Review incoming product receipts against pricing and order information, then record accurate details in the system. Track inbound shipments and transportation activity, including over-the-road and container movements, to help ensure smooth product flow. Monitor supplier performance and delivery commitments to maintain strong on-time fulfillment results. Update planning and purchasing data in the ERP system to keep inventory, order, and supply information current. Partner with internal teams on the movement of goods between facilities and support efficient distribution of finished products. Contribute to daily buying activities by balancing forecast inputs, supply requirements, and operational priorities.
