Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- Sets up and operates variety of woodworking machines and uses various hand tools to fabricate and assemble doors by performing the following duties.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sets up and operates woodworking machines such as power saws, jointer, molder, and shaper, to cut and shape parts from wood stock.
- Trims component parts of joints to ensure snug fit
- Bores holes for insertion of screws or dowels.
- Glues, fits, and clamps parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit.
- Drives nails or other fasteners into joints at designated places to reinforce joints.
- Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
