Reporting directly to the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor, this role offers an exciting chance to contribute to top-tier patient care using cutting-edge imaging technology.
Responsibilities:- Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine/Nuclear Cardiology
- Execute diagnostic procedures accurately
- Perform quality control checks on imaging tools
- Ensure physician orders are appropriate
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and prepare patients
- Utilize gamma cameras, PACS, and nuclear medicine systems for imaging
- Resolve technical and clinical issues efficiently
- Radiopharmaceutical Preparation
- Prepare and dose radiopharmaceuticals
- Manage Tc99m kits and supplies
- Maintain quality control and sterile technique
- Radioactive Material Management
- Oversee material ordering, receiving, storage, and disposal
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Therapeutic Nuclear Medicine
- Collaborate on therapy planning
- Administer therapeutic doses safely
- Mobile Nuclear Cardiology
- Travel to various locations for imaging
- Set up and operate equipment independently
- Patient Care
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
- Compliance & Education
- Participate in accreditation and training
- Maintain required certifications
- Customer Service
- Interact with patients professionally and attentively

Requirements:- Current or eligible certification in Nuclear Medicine by NMTCB or ARRTFormal degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology (preferred)
- Eligible for New York State licensure
- Valid driver's license and insuranceBLS certification (required within 90 days of hire)
Experience: One year preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
