Shift Schedule:
24-hour shifts8 hours in-house care16 hours on-call coverageICU Bed Count: 14-bed ICU Responsibilities: Manage critically ill patients in an ICU setting Rounding on patients during the day with on-call duties after in-house hours Handle admissions as required Perform specialized procedures including: Ventilation management (invasive and non-invasive) Central and arterial line insertions BronchoscopyLumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis Dialysis catheter placement and more Requirements: Board Certification: Internal Medicine - Critical Care MedicineWA State License: Active and unrestricted license required
Certifications:
- ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALSMust be comfortable managing ICU patients and performing advanced procedures as detailed above Additional Details: The facility offers temporary privileges to expedite your ability to work
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance will be covered
- A one-day orientation is required prior to starting
