Corporate Associate - Elite Boutique - Remote

WHO WE ARE: We are an elite boutique law firm built to outperform traditional Am Law firms on sophisticated middle-market transactions. Our model delivers materially greater senior ownership, continuity and accountability than large-firm staffing structures. Our attorneys bring deep experience from top multinational firms and leading law schools and routinely lead complex transactions. We deliberately focus on transactions that matter to clients but are structurally deprioritized inside large firms. Every matter receives sustained senior-partner engagement, real judgment and direct ownership rather than leveraged or fragmented staffing models. Our practice spans M&A, private equity, securities, corporate governance, secured finance, fund formation, employment and related matters. Our clients include Fortune 100 public companies, multibillion-dollar private equity sponsors and mid-market operating companies across the United States. We are an entrepreneurial firm growing rapidly. Our attorneys work remotely in a high-performance, highly collaborative culture centered on ownership, rigor and execution. WHO WE NEEDWe are seeking an outstanding lawyer with: At least two years of sophisticated corporate transactional experience Am Law 100 experienceA J.D. from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record Strong ethical standards and a client-first orientation Admission in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdictionADDITIONAL INFORMATION This is a full-time, remote position. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. We operate in a demanding, output-driven environment. We care deeply about the quality, timeliness and reliability of work product, not how or when hours are logged. This is not a lifestyle firm. We expect our lawyers to surge hard when client needs require it, including evenings, weekends and holidays. The minimum annual billable expectation is 1,800 hours, but historically our attorneys rarely exceed 2,000 billable hours annually. Because we are a fully remote firm, this role requires a high degree of personal accountability, initiative and self-direction. Our lawyers are expected to operate with a high degree of ownership, manage their own workflows efficiently and consistently deliver at a high level within a closely supervised, high-accountability environment. We invest heavily in attorney development. Our partners regularly teach, publish and present in our practice areas, and we actively share training materials, institutional knowledge and substantive feedback. You will receive more direct mentorship, exposure and practical skill development than is typical in large firms. We also support attorneys who want to build durable practices. As a small and flexible organization, we can tailor fee structures and client arrangements in ways that enable lawyers to develop their own books of business and long-term professional leverage. We are a stable, well-capitalized firm with a long-term growth orientation, led by experienced operators who are committed to building a durable institution rather than a lifestyle practice. Advancement and responsibility are driven by performance, judgment and contribution rather than seniority or internal politics. This environment is best suited for lawyers who thrive in high-standards settings, welcome constructive feedback, collaborate well and are continuously focused on improving their craft. As part of our evaluation process, we may request a short, paid drafting exercise designed to assess real-world judgment, precision and writing quality. We believe this is the most effective and fair way to evaluate fit for a drafting-intensive role.
