Full-TimeJob DescriptionA Barricade Company is looking for a dependable, experienced Fleet Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of commercial trucks, diesel vehicles, trailers, and traffic control equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-conscious, and able to work independently to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gas-powered trucks.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, and hydraulic issues.
Perform oil changes, inspections, tire replacements, and preventive maintenance.
Maintain trailers and traffic control equipment.
Track repairs, maintenance schedules, and service records.
Respond to occasional equipment breakdowns.
Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a fleet, diesel, or automotive mechanic.
Knowledge of medium-duty trucks, including Isuzu and similar commercial vehicles.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
Own tools preferred.
