SBA 504 Credit Analyst

Position Title: SBA 504 Credit Analyst Status: Full-Time Hiring Range: $61,738 – $87,159 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including participation in the South Dakota Retirement System (SDRS), a pension-based retirement plan.

Position Summary: The South Eastern Council of Governments (SECOG) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized SBA 504 Credit Analyst to support the underwriting, analysis, and processing of DBF’s SBA 504 and SEDF loan projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, underwriting, banking, or SBA lending programs. This position is onsite in Sioux Falls, SD. Relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must be able to work from the Sioux Falls location on their start date and maintain reliable transportation to and from work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide direct support for Loan Officers throughout the loan origination process. Collect information from borrowers, lenders, and other project stakeholders. Complete loan applications, including detailed credit analyses and summaries of loan requests. Analyze borrower financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, and related documentation. Prepare loan application packages for submission to SBA. Assist with completing environmental site visits. Ensure compliance with environmental and appraisal requirements. Assist with loan closings as necessary. Schedule and prepare annual site visits for Loan Officers. Maintain accurate loan files and supporting documentation. Respond to inquiries regarding loan applications and program requirements. Maintain confidentiality of information. Perform other duties as assigned.
