The Opportunity:
A large global alternative investment platform is seeking an Associate to join its direct lending team.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate new private credit investment opportunities
- Perform company, industry and business-model diligence
- Build financial models and conduct valuation and credit analysis
- Identify key investment merits, risks and downside scenarios
- Support transaction structuring, documentation and closing
- Prepare investment committee materials and present recommendations
- Monitor portfolio companies following investment
- Work directly with company management teams and senior investment professionals
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of investment banking or related experience
- Leveraged finance, credit or sponsor finance exposure is a plus
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Genuine interest in fundamental credit investing
- Ability to form and communicate an independent investment view
- Strong academic background and communication skills
