Work Hours:
5:00PM-5:00AM (overtime for after 40 hours) The goal of AJ Manufacturing Co., Inc. is to provide the automotive market with timesaving, problem-solving tools. Today, there are numerous sources for automotive tools, and we know this. So, at AJ Manufacturing, we manufacture specialty automotive aftermarket tools that, for the most part, fill a particular niche. Our focus is on providing the highest quality products and a superior level of service to our customers WORLDWIDE.We are seeking dependable Entry-Level Machine Operators to join our 2nd shift production team. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who is interested in learning machine operation. We provide comprehensive, on-the-job training, so no previous machine operating experience is required.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Produces machined parts by operating robotic machines
- Maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part, and sample work pieces.
- Monitor & report production activity within the assigned manufacturing departments to achieve a level of daily throughput Verifies conformance of production parts to specifications.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Be responsive to process and equipment deficiencies to maintain scrap levels at or above standard.
- Able to identify and report problems with machinery, tooling, and processes. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all production areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications/Requirements No machine operation experience required—we will train the right candidate. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds, as needed. Willingness to learn new skills and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
