Industrial Maintenance Mechanic -2nd Shift $2,000 Sign-On Bonus ending on 9/30/26

Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday | 2:00 PM-12:30 AM

Pay: $24.00-$40.00/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential Pay is based on skills, experience, shift, internal equity, and business needs. We support advancement through hands-on training, skill development, performance, and opportunities to grow with the team.

Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment, packaging equipment, conveyors, utility systems, and facility equipment Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, equipment inspections, and repairs to support manufacturing uptime and reliability Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, motor, drive, sensor, and control-system issues Support PLC troubleshooting, automation equipment, equipment installations, machine upgrades, modifications, and production changeovers Complete maintenance work orders, parts usage records, PM documentation, and equipment repair notes Follow GMP, food safety, lockout/tagout, OSHA, and workplace safety requirements in a food and beverage manufacturing environment Partner with production, packaging, and operations teams to reduce downtime, improve equipment performance, and support continuous improvement Why Join Vermont Cider Company?$500 annual tool allowance 4-day workweek with a three-day weekend every week PTO starting at 3 weeks in year one Up to 10 paid holidays Paid parental leave Annual bonus opportunity Monthly product allowance Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life and disability insurance 401(k) with up to 5% company match RequirementsWhat We Are Looking For Industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, production, food, beverage, or similar environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills. Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, and hydraulics. PLC experience is desired, especially troubleshooting or programming experience, but candidates with strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills experience preferred. Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, diagrams, and maintenance instructions. Reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
