Twenty-six years ago, Oak Hills Church in Folsom, California, began a theological and cultural shift from an attractional model toward one emphasizing formation in Christlikeness—prioritizing life right now in God’s Kingdom and the inside-out work of transformation by the Holy Spirit. We have never wavered in our commitment to this path, and today our resolve is stronger than ever to live in the way of God’s Kingdom and be a local church that is, in the words of N. T. Wright, “a small working model of new creation.”
Our Worship & Arts Ministry exists to cultivate the priority of worship in our church as a community of artists, using our gifts to express our faith in encouraging and God glorifying ways. The Creative Arts Pastor champions and curates these essential values through the larger mission of inviting people to experience the reality of life in the Kingdom of God. This full-time position reports directly to the Senior Pastor and includes regular meetings with senior staff.
We are looking for a unique individual who is exceptionally talented, with an exceptional commitment to humility; an independent thinker with a team orientation; seasoned and experienced but with a sense of curiosity and teachability; a can-do attitude with strong problem-solving abilities; and a pastoral heart continually growing in spiritual formation.
