Job Description:
CareCore at Meadows is hiring a Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team! We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Perform floor care duties, including stripping, waxing, buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning.
Operate and maintain floor care equipment safely and effectively.
Maintain clean and sanitary floors throughout the facility.
Assist with general housekeeping duties as needed.
Follow infection control procedures and facility safety guidelines.
Report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Previous floor care experience preferred.
Experience in a healthcare, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility is a plus.
Knowledge of floor cleaning equipment, chemicals, and proper floor care techniques preferred.
Ability to perform physical duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
