Responsibilities:- Assist in the preparation and service of patient meals, including setting up and cleaning the dining area
- Maintain accurate records of food service, including patient meal counts and food inventory
- Ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special requests
- Prepare and deliver patient trays, including serving meals in a timely and efficient manner
- Clean and sanitize food service equipment, utensils, and dining areas
- Collaborate with the dietary department to plan and execute special events and holiday meals
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and service procedures
