Job DescriptionDescription: The Plastics Extrusion Grinder operates a variety of machines used to granulate plastics. Works from specific verbal and written supervision with close supervision. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIESGrind scrap materialClean granulating machine as requiredEnsures materials are not contaminated while grindingWeigh, label, stock, and record regrind material in raw inventory areaTransfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas, using forklifts and hand toolRemove and dispose of scrap material as directedMaintain and clean work areaPerform other duties as assigned by supervisorSchedule: Primarily Monday through Friday:1st Shift 6:30 am to 3:00 pm2nd Shift 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm - $ 75 cents shift differential3rd Shift 10:30 pm to 7:00 am - $ 1.25 shift differentialRequirements: Must be able to stand on concrete floor for 8 hour shiftMust be able to work in cold and hot environmentHeavy liftingWalking, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing stairsMust be able to use close vision to operator saws and drillsMust be able to read, write and perform basic mathSelf motivated, energetic with the ability to think outside the normAbility to multi-taskStrong attention to detail
